(DAYTON, OHIO)...The Greater Dayton RTA will temporarily close the transit center platform at Wright Stop Plaza as crews perform property enhancements between July 22 and July 30, 2017. All scheduled routes and times will remain the same.

During the closure, all customers will board the bus on East Third Street, excluding riders on Route 7 and Route 8, who will board on Main Street (see reroute details below). No parking will be allowed in front of the plaza in order to accommodate buses. The following reroutes will be in effect:

Northbound & Eastbound Buses: All eastbound and northbound routes will pick up on the eastbound side of Third Street (Wright Stop Plaza side), between Jefferson and Main streets. Buses will then proceed north onto Jefferson and continue to regular routing.

Southbound & Westbound Buses: All south and westbound routes will pick up customers on the westbound side of East Third Street (old PNC Bank building side). Buses will proceed south on Ludlow and continue to regular routing

Routes 7 & 8: Northbound buses will pick up on North Main Street in front of Wright Stop Plaza, and southbound buses on North Main Street in front of the old courthouse. Stops on Monument Avenue, along Ludlow at 1st and 2nd streets and on Jefferson at 2nd street will be closed. Temporary stops will be on North Main Street at 1st and 2nd streets.

Temporary signage as well as additional Transit Ambassadors and RTA staff will be on hand to assist customers and answer questions.

While the platform is closed, the concourse inside Wright Stop Plaza will remain open to the public.

To continue to be able to track your bus and its arrival during the closure, download Transit app, available in both the Google Play and App stores.
