St. Patrick's Day 2019 detours -- Routes 4 and 12

(DAYTON, OHIO) … The Greater Dayton RTA will adjust services to accommodate the Wayne Avenue road closures for St. Patrick’s Day celebrations.

Wayne Avenue will be closed between Fifth and Bainbridge streets for the annual St. Patrick’s Day celebration at the Dublin Pub restaurant. RTA buses will not run service on Wayne Avenue between Keowee and Fifth streets.

The reroute will begin on Saturday, March 16 at approximately 8 a.m. and last until the end of bus services on Sunday night. Regular bus routing will resume at the beginning of the service day on Monday, March 18.

There will be no through traffic—northbound or southbound—on Wayne Avenue between Bainbridge and Fifth Streets. Routes 4 and 12 will use Fifth Street, Keowee Street to normal routing on Wayne Avenue in northbound and southbound directions to go around the street closure.

St. Patrick’s Day partygoers who want to be safe and not worry about parking near the party can use the RTA as their designated driver and easily plan their trip to the festivities with RTA RideTime products.
