RTA to run special Saturday “Festive Flyer” shuttle
The Greater Dayton Regional Transit Authority will run a special Saturday shuttle route for The Flyer to provide easy, free access to holiday events in downtown Dayton.
The Festive Flyer holiday shuttle route will run from The Neon movie theater at the edge of the Oregon District to RiverScape MetroPark and back. This route will run on Saturday Dec. 1, Dec. 8 and Dec. 15 only, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. This route conveniently operates near area parking at the Transportation Center Garage on 5th Street and other parking options in the downtown area. Park once and hop on The Flyer to get around to different events, no matter the weather!
This special shuttle route will help visitors easily go from one event downtown to the next, including Lunch with Santa at Uno’s, the Wintergarden Wonderland, Rike’s holiday windows, and Tike’s Shoppe at the Schuster Center, ice skating at RiverScape MetroPark, and family holiday films at The Neon. The Festive Flyer route also provides convenient access to local shops in the Oregon District and downtown Dayton.
