RTA to operate Sunday schedule on Christmas holiday

(DAYTON, OHIO)… In observance of the Christmas and New Year’s holidays, the Greater Dayton RTA will run a Sunday service schedule on all routes on Monday, Dec. 25 and Monday, Jan. 1.
The RTA will run its regular Sunday service hours on Christmas Eve, Dec. 24 and on New Year’s Eve on Dec. 31. RTA Connect Paratransit services will also follow the same timeframes of its weekend services through the holidays.
RTA’s holiday bus will continue running regular routes through Jan. 2. The festive “Ugly Sweater party” themed bus features a Christmas tree inside along with a special photo booth in the back of the bus, holiday music and candy canes. It is scheduled to be on Route 34 on Christmas Eve, Routes 8 and 9on Christmas Day and Route X5 on Dec. 26.
