RTA to offer free rides for veterans to WSU veterans event

(DAYTON, OHIO) … The Greater Dayton RTA will offer free rides for any military active duty or veteran to attend the “Veterans Moving Forward” event at Wright State University on Wednesday, May 23.
The event, which takes place annually and focuses on the issues facing the veterans, brings together community veteran service providers.
Any active-duty personnel or veteran who shows their military ID to the bus driver can ride RTA routes free to and from the event at the Wright State University Student Union.

Veterans Moving Forward is hosted by the Greater Miami Valley My Veteran Community and will be held at the student union from 3-7 p.m. The event includes veteran support services, information about jobs with local employers and networking opportunities. The event is free to register for at www.veteransmovingforward.org.
