RTA Ready To Transport Dayton Air Show Visitors

(DAYTON, OHIO)… The Greater Dayton RTA is proud to once again be the transportation sponsor for the Vectren Dayton Air Show June 18 and 19.
Air-conditioned buses will run an express shuttle service on a continuous loop from both the U.S. Air Force Museum parking lot and Wright Stop Plaza directly to the air show’s main gate.
Hours of operation for the park-and-ride service are 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. both days. The cost of a round-trip ride is $3, and cash is the only payment method accepted. Children 5 and under are free. From the downtown Wright Stop Plaza location, the regular fare structure applies.
RTA is also the transportation sponsor for A Special Wish Foundation Dayton during the Friday afternoon preview event. A Special Wish brings together the airport, pilots, RTA and the Vectren Dayton Air Show to give young people diagnosed with life-threatening disorders the meet-and-greet event of a lifetime. Special Wish transportation will take place between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. RTA usually transports hundreds of Special Wish kids and their families on preview Friday.
