(DAYTON, OHIO) … Ride more and save more this summer thanks to discounts by the Greater Dayton RTA on day and weekly passes as well as Project Mobility ticket packs. Sales start on Monday, June 5.
Weekly passes (good for 7 days) will be on sale for $14—a $5 savings—and day passes (good for 24-hours) will be on sale for $4—a savings of $1 off the normal rate. Project Mobility 10-ticket packs (good for 10 one way trips) will also be discounted from the original $35 down to $30.
Our new pricing offers a significant discount to our daily riders who need to get to and from a location each day. Currently a daily round trip to any destination requiring two transfers costs $4.00 if you pay with cash. Now customers can turn their daily cash into a day pass at the same rate but have the power of unlimited travel with no need for a transfer, said Brandon Policicchio, Chief Customer & Business Development Officer for the RTA.
Whether it’s getting to a job or planning a day of summer fun around Dayton, the RTA wants to make travel easy and within reach for all. RTA’s 3,300 stops along 35 bus routes across all of Montgomery and parts of Greene County can get you where you need to go.
The special summer fares will be available for purchase from any of the 35 vendor locations that currently sell RTA fares. All locations can be found here: http://www.i-riderta.org/how-to-ride/pass-token-outlet.
The special sale prices will be limited to individual and family purchases only. No bulk or agency purchases are permitted.
