RTA Connect On-Demand Zones - All RTA Connect On-Demand Service will expand to RTA Connect On-Demand Zones, which will allow customers to travel door-to-door within a zone’s coverage area. These new zones will expand the service area that was previously covered by specific and limited pick up and drop off locations. The On-Demand service zones include Brookville, Clayton, New Lebanon, Drexel, Germantown, Farmersville, Miamisburg, Austin Landing and Wright Patterson Air Force Base (see maps at http://www.iriderta.org/RTA-connect/on-demand. Transfer points within each zone allow customers to easily connect to RTA fixed-route bus services. Customers traveling within a valid On-Demand zone and starting or ending their trip at a transfer point (see attached map) will pay nothing for their On-Demand trip. Those using On-Demand services to travel freely to any location within the On-Demand zone, but who are not starting or ending their trip at a transfer point, will pay $2 per trip—the same cost as one-way RTA bus fare. On-Demand trips cannot be taken across multiple zones. For more information on the RTA Connect program, visit www.iriderta.org/RTA-connect/on-demand.
