RTA issues reroutes, provides emergency assistance due to storms

This is an update to the several Greater Dayton RTA detours caused by remaining road closures due to storm damage, and information about relief stations and emergency evacuation assistance the agency is providing across affected areas.

All RTA detours due to street closures from storm damage are over. All RTA routes are back to normal service.

The RTA will post locations where it has set up a bus as a cooling center and electronic charging station via its social media channels. Please check the RTA Facebook and Twitter pages for more information.


The RTA is also providing emergent transportation between medical facilities and Red Cross shelters at Morton Middle School and Corinthian Baptist Church. To schedule a trip for this service, call the RTA Call Center at (937) 425-8300 during normal business hours, 7:30 am - 5 pm Monday through Friday, and 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
