The Greater Dayton RTA will adjust services to accommodate the Wayne Avenue road closure for St. Patrick’s Day celebrations.
Wayne Avenue will be closed between Fifth and Bainbridge streets for the annual St. Patrick’s Day celebration at Dublin Pub.
The reroute will begin on Thursday, March 16 at approximately 6:30 p.m. and last until the end of bus services Friday night and into early Saturday morning.
There will be no through traffic—northbound or southbound—on Wayne Avenue between Bainbridge and Fifth Streets. Routes 4 and 12 will deviate onto Fifth and Bainbridge to Wayne in both directions. Both north and southbound Routes 4 and 12 will deviate onto Fifth, Keowee and Wayne to go around the closure.
St. Patrick’s Day partygoers can easily plan their trip to the festivities with RTA RideTime products, including text-in and call-in features for real-time bus arrivals. Riders can also use the Transit app to plan their trip. Go to iriderta.org/ridetime for more information.
