RTA adjusts Route 60 schedule for bridge construction

(DAYTON, Ohio)… Detours along Route 60 will begin Monday, Feb. 6 due to a bridge-replacement project that will close South Gebhart Church Road in Miamisburg.
The construction is scheduled to close South Gebhart Church Road between State Route 725 and Maue Road from Feb. 6 until April 19.
Route 60 westbound will detour on Leiter and circle at Sycamore Hospital to return to Alexandersville and Maue roads and reverse eastbound. A temporary stop will be added near the hospital entrance.
To help with on-time performance due to the detour, Route 60 westbound will continue straight on Central Avenue and then left on North Main Street to continue on regular routing.

With the detour, the following stops will be closed in both directions until approximately April 19, 2017:
- Stops 6872 and 6882 ̶ Gebhart Church Road at Maue Road
- Stops 6051 an 5743 ̶ Sycamore Primary Care Center at Gebhart Church Road
- Stop 3171 ̶ 1st Street at Central Avenue
- Stop 3172 ̶ 1st Street at Pearl Street
- Stop 3230 ̶ Main Street at Ferry Street
