RTA Business Center

RTA has a proud legacy of contributing to the economic strength of the Dayton region and enhancing the quality of life through the services we provide. You can count on us to meet your mobility needs for work, school or shopping. As always, It’s Time To Ride!

We are also eager to provide our region’s businesses with services that contribute to the economic vitality of their bottom line. We work hard to make a difference by bringing value to you!

SmartChoice

Offers employees a benefit they really appreciate. SmartChoice is a transit benefit to employees for commuting to and from work. A range of tax-free, commuter benefit packages is available to all area employers throughout the Miami Valley.

Graphic and Audio Ads

Mobile billboard ad campaigns offer unlimited impressions and unequaled exposure. Audio ads target a captive audience receptive to your message. These advertising ideas reach audiences untouched by conventional advertising. Whether your ad rolls through drive-time traffic or is playing as it passes your business, results are immediate! In hosting billboard and audio advertising, RTA fits an expanding trend in the demand for unconventional advertising because media buyers realize that ads on buses can greatly impact the marketplace.

Corporate Sponsorships

Proven traffic and targeted demographics make RTA an ideal environment for consumer promotions. We have regional programs specifically geared toward college students, business commuters and seniors that lend themselves to custom turnkey programs for marketers.

Procurement and Contracting

Your business can do business with us. The RTA Procurement Department seeks qualified businesses to purchase goods and/or services.  RTA encourages disadvantaged business enterprise participation whenever possible. Please visit proc.greaterdaytonrta.org for open procurement opportunities.

Community Grants

RTA leverages federal transportation funds to support the communities we serve for projects like Kettering’s award-winning sculptural bus shelters or Oakwood’s street and sidewalk amenities.  Enhancing the communities we service is part of our business.

Service For Special Event

For special events, requests should be referred to private charter operators in the geographic service area. Please visit the Federal Transportation Administration's Charter Registration website for a list of charter companies serving the Dayton/Montgomery County area.

When there is no willing and able private contractor available to meet anticipated service demands, we may design special event transit services for large, regional special events that benefit the public at large. Requests for all special event transportation will be considered and evaluated based on FTA regulations and agency policy and must be received by RTA a minimum of three months in advance of event date.
