Dave Williamson
David Williamson is an attorney and a partner with the law firm of Bieser, Greer and Landis. He received a BA degree, summa cum laude, from Ohio University in 1975. In 1978, he received a JD degree from the Ohio State University School of Law and was sworn in as an attorney at law before the Ohio Supreme Court. Mr. Williamson has served as President of both the Dayton Bar Association and the Dayton Bar Foundation, has served on the Board of the Sinclair College Paralegal Program, and has taught as an adjunct professor at the University of Dayton School of Law and at Sinclair Community College.
Community and charitable involvement include serving as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Montgomery County Historical Society where he chaired the Old Courthouse renovation committee, and the Courthouse Square Fountain of Presidents committee. He has twice served on the Executive Board of the Dayton Rotary Club and is a past president of the Northridge Optimist Club. He has been twice recognized by the President’s Club of Dayton as Service Club Member of the Year for his service to both the Rotary and Optimist organizations.
Currently Mr. Williamson serves as Vice Chair of the Dayton Montgomery County Scholarship Committee, as a member of the Montgomery County Law Library Resources Board, and a board member of Dayton Crayons to Classrooms. He is also President of the Board of Visitors of the Ohio University Honors Tutorial College.
Mr. Williamson and his wife Terry, whom he met at Ohio University, live in the McPherson Town neighborhood of Dayton and have four adult children. The couple previously served as co-presidents of the Muse Machine Parents Association.
