About RTA

RTA Services - the way we roll

RTA is on the move for you—making news, holding public meetings, publishing research and reports, and managing community projects to improve the rider experience.

RTA operates 29 routes throughout the greater Dayton region. We provide conveniently located transit centers and Park-n-Ride lots, as well as more than 50 token and pass sales outlets. All RTA buses include bike racks and are wheelchair accessible.

All this takes a skilled and dedicated workforce of 650 employees and we're hiring new talent regularly to better serve our customers.

Now more than ever…it’s time to ride RTA.

The RTA received an Achievement of Excellence from the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) for perfect results on its 2010 Triennial Review. RTA met all the requirements of the areas examined in this major review, which is rare for any transit agency.
